For Men Who Are Ready for Change

Maybe you know something needs to change, but you don't know how to make it happen. The anger, disconnection, anxiety, destructive behaviors, or patterns you keep repeating aren't happening without a reason.
Understanding what's driving you is the first step toward changing how you live, respond, and connect with the people who matter.
Why Do I Keep Doing This?

Your earlier experiences shaped you. You learned ways of thinking, reacting, and protecting yourself that helped you get through the environment you grew up in.
Those patterns served a purpose. They may have helped you handle difficult emotions, conflict, stress, or relationships. But what helped you get through life then may not be helping you now.
Some behaviors can help you function while making it harder to connect—with yourself and with other people. Healthy behavior needs to do both: help you function and help you build meaningful relationships.
The goal isn’t to blame the past. It’s to understand how it shaped you, so you can decide what still serves you and what you’re ready to change.
There Is a Different Way

Emotional intelligence isn't about becoming more emotional. It's about learning to understand what's happening within you, take ownership of how you respond, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
Define where you want to go
Coaching is focused on where you are now and where you want to go. Together, we identify your goals and develop the emotional intelligence, communication skills, strategies, and accountability needed to move toward them.
Understand what shaped you.
Counseling helps you understand how your experiences and environment shaped the ways you learned to think, feel, behave, and relate to others. It provides a place to address anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, relationship difficulties, and destructive patterns—while developing the emotional intelligence needed to create healthier ways of living and relating.

Meet Sean Rollinson

I believe men change when they understand themselves - not when they're told what's wrong with them.
My understanding of change didn't begin in a classroom. It began with my own journey more than two decades ago.
My own experiences taught me how deeply our past can shape the way we think, feel, behave, and relate to others. I also learned that understanding those patterns gives us the opportunity to change them.
Along the way, emotional intelligence became central to my understanding of real change. It gave me a framework for understanding myself, my relationships, and the changes I wanted to make in my own life.
That personal journey eventually became a professional one. I entered the behavioral health field in 2006 and have been in private practice since 2016. Today, my work is focused on helping men develop greater emotional intelligence by strengthening their emotional awareness, emotional regulation, communication, and empathy—ultimately helping them build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

Emotional Intelligence Changes Everything
In my TEDx talk, I share how understanding our past, becoming more aware of our emotions, and developing the skills to regulate, communicate, and connect can change our relationship with ourselves—and with the people around us.
Understanding ourselves creates the foundation for authentic connection with others—and ultimately, greater peace.
